Mambo Frankston

I have eaten here a couple of times. It's conveniently located next to Hoyts cinemas in Frankston so is a good place to eat before catching a movie.

My experiences here have been a little hit and miss, but the food is usually OK. Last night we ordered the Mediterranean lamb salad, and the Basil Scallop linguine. Both were nice, but nothing spectacular. The pork ribs here are pretty good but it's a huge serving so I recommend sharing with someone. I don't recommend the bruscetta, as it is basically just a fat piece of foccacia style bread covered in tomato and onion, they have it all wrong.

Overall, the food here is alright and they have a wide range of things to choose from on the menu. It's fairly affordable, and in a convenient location. So not bad overall. They also have a $12 lunch menu that looks like good value.
