Kenzan

This Japanese restaurant is located on Collins st in Collins place. I took some family friends here for dinner after we all walked around hungry and undecided on where to eat so stumbled upon the nearest place - Kenzan. I had heard good things about it, but was surprised at just how expensive it was for what you actually got. The restaurant was nice inside, well presented, but nothing spectacular and the food was satisfying but not worth the price tag. We got some sushi and sushimi to share and a few of us ordered some hot dishes also. My beef teriyaki was a bit tough. The service was also a little rushed, they forgot an order of ours. It was a little disappointing, but the company of my wonderful friends made it a good night.
